History of Palm Angels

Francesco Ragazzi, a designer and photographer, founded his own label in 2015 after working for more than a decade as one of the orchestrators behind the lifestyle brand Moncler. Palm Angels were the name he gave it.

Despite the fact that his label is based in Milan, it is not your typical Italian label. Ragazzi splits his time between Los Angeles and Milan, and he developed his brand after publishing a photography book of the same name in 2014. The novel honours skateboarders in Los Angeles reimagined from his own eyes.

Ragazzi's American and Italian ancestry is highlighted in Palm Angels. In both of his collections, he combines his view of American culture with an Italian flair for luxury. It is neither stereotypically Italian nor stereotypically American.

He draws heavily on Los Angeles West Coast culture from the 1990s and combines it with upscale and luxurious complexities.
